Papa Joe is now Grandpapa Joe!
Jessica Simpson‘s father Joe Simpson has taken to Twitter to share his excitement over the birth of his granddaughter Maxwell Drew Johnson.
In his inspirational tweet, the former minister shared his elation over the birth of Jessica and fiancé Eric Johnson‘s baby girl.
Jess dreamed since she was a young girl about being a mom,” Joe said. “Dreams come true! So happy!”
He added: “Proud PaPaJoe !! Beautiful baby girl… What a miracle!”
On Tuesday, May 1, Jess gave birth to her little miracle at a hospital in Los Angeles with Eric and their families by her side.
“We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received,” Simpson wrote on her website. “This has been the greatest experience of our lives!”
I’m not understanding why some of you are trippin… where does it say anything about this being his first grandkid? He just said he’s happy for them, where is the crime in that.
and i’m pretty sure this is a photo from awhile ago… so no, she is not all of a sudden back to her pre-preg weight.

Wow! Jessica looks fantastic after giving birth – she lost a lot of weight from her face very quickly I bet she will be a size 0 again soon – lucky girl!! Can’t wait to see her on the cover of a gossip magazine with her new baby girl. And yes, dreams do come true. Like many girls that dream of being a mom, Jessica was able to do it. Kudos!
This pic was before she got pregnant, in fact I think a few years before she got pregnant. No one drops weight that fast after a baby. Plus Jessica was at least a size 6 or 8 before she got pregnant not a 0.

From looking at Joe’s twitter, this picture was actually taken before Jess even got pregnant, so it’s no surprise she looks much skinnier here
Is that an old picture? How do we know it was just taken? He calls himself a proud Papa…where are you all getting that he’s acting like it’s his first grandchild? I didn’t read his tweet that way at all.
I agree he did not say anything about being a first time grandfather from what I can see. Why do people read so much drama into these things? They are both is grandkids and he is proud.
