In a surprise announcement, Mira Sorvino, 44, and husband Christopher Backus, 30, have welcomed a fourth child! The couple’s daughter Lucia was born on Thursday, May 3 in Los Angeles, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
“We are thrilled beyond measure to have been blessed with our fourth precious, healthy child,” the couple says in a statement. They had not announced their pregnancy news.
Lucia is in good company with her three older siblings: Holden, 2, Johnny, 5, and Mattea, 7.
Keeping busy as ever, Sorvino stars in Union Square this July, and Backus will make his directorial debut in The Sessionist this summer.

I’m actually really surprised they’re still together. He was 23 and she was 37 when they had their first kid. Odds were against them.

I love the name Lucia, I think it complements Mattea very well. I wonder if they pronounce it loo-SEE-ah or loo-CHEE-ah.
Could also be LOO-shuh. That’s how I’ve met with that name have pronounced it.
Mira Sorvino is half Italian I believe, so it’s probably pronounced the Italian way – Loo-chee-ah
Or maybe it’s, LOO-la-cha-leEe-RA-fa-fa-TA.

Wow. I did wonder if she was, i saw some photos of her and kids on a press photo side but was unable to enlarge them and she looked like she had very large clothing on. Congrats, hope they do another photo shoot like they did with Holden.
