Jennifer Garner & Her Karate Cutie

Jennifer Garner & Her Karate Cutie

Jennifer Garner took Violet to her karate class in Santa Monica, Calif. on Friday (May 4). When they arrived – the energetic 6-year-old was seen wearing a red checkered dress and mary jane shoes.

When they left – Violet had on her karate outfit while mom carried her yellow belt.

Jennifer received the Female Star of the Year Award at CinemaCon last week.

During her acceptance speech, she told a story about a conversation she had with her mother when she told her about the award.

The actress shared, “There was this pause on the other end of the line. ‘She said, “Jennifer, do these people know you haven’t worked in the last year?” I said, “Yeah, I feel they probably know what I’ve been up to. I haven’t stepped foot on a set. You are correct, mom.”

The mom of three will be seen online however. She’s set to be in a new web series for the YouTube Channel with Dakota Fanning, Julia Stiles and Virginia Madsen.
