Rachel Zoe & Skyler: Fashionable Lunchers

Rachel Zoe and 13-month-old Skyler went out for lunch in New York City on Saturday (May 5). The celebrity stylist and designer wore knee-high boots, a short black jacket and scarf for the outing. Skyler wore a plush white coat with little brown shoes.

Zoe has been in town getting ready for the 2012 Met Gala – held last night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She styled herself and Karolina Kurkova in custom Rachel Zoe Collection gowns for the event.

The 40-year-old said her off-white dress made her feel like dancing.

She tells US Weekly, “It does actually! I love fringe. It always makes me want to dance.”

As for dressing her toddler – she exclaimed, “It’s too much fun!”

The US Weekly article seems a bit mean-spirited. “Scary Skinny” — way to (NOT) get an interview from her in the future.

      US weekly mean-spirited? NEVER!! ;)

Regardless, Zoe has a show and a clothing line to promote and will never say no to free publicity even if the mag decides to hit below the belt with her appearance.

For the longest time because of the way this kid looks and how they dress him, I thought it was a girl.

I’m so over seeing this cute little guy in that hat and/or scarf. I’m not over seeing him, just the same scarf and hat for the last 9 months. It’s not cute on a baby. And scarves are a choking hazzard, but thats not the main point of my comment. For a fashion stylist, I am surprised we have seen the same items on him so often. But she obviously really loves it and doesn’t care what anyone else thinks, which is cool. Just my opinion.

Or maybe he’s like my kids and knew by the time they could walk exactly what they wanted to wear, and it was usually the same favorites over and over again.
