Honey star Jessica Alba was seen enjoying Mother’s Day weekend wither her two daughters – Honor, nearly 4, and Haven, 9 months – along with husband Cash Warren in sunny California. On Saturday (May 12), the seemingly blissful Alba-Warrens had a blast at Coldwater Canyon Park in Beverly Hills and on Mother’s Day (May 13), the family-of-four got dressed up for an afternoon at the Bel-Air hotel with Jessica’s mom and dad.
The Fantastic Four actress, 31, was voted one of our favorite celebrity moms. The mom-of-two has said motherhood “changed everything” and helped her gain perspective.
I felt completely different [after becoming a mom],” Jess said. “I really came into myself as a person. Before, I was always working for my identity. And then you take the focus off of yourself. I was probably-definitely-a bit of a narcissist. When you are young and an actor and driven, it’s a bizarre state of mind to be in at times. I was so focused on things that didn’t matter at the end of the day. Now I have what I do for a living in perspective. Working was everything to me, my entire identity, and once I got to step away from it, everything changed.”
The high profile eco-friendly mama has just returned from a trip to New York where she attended the Met Gala, celebrated Cinco de Mayo and hosted the Outstanding Mothers Awards ahead of Mother’s Day this past weekend.
As well as hosting the event, Jess was honored at the bash and presented with an award. She also filmed a special Mother’s Day episode of Anderson with Anderson Cooper, alongside her own mother Catherine.View Slideshow »»
