Jessica Simpson‘s empire continues to grow after the birth of her first child, daughter Maxwell Drew.

The morning after celebrating her first Mother’s Day, the singer-turned-entrepreneur announced plans to expand her already billion-dollar business even further by launching a maternity line. And if that wasn’t enough, E! News confirms that the first photos of her “insanely beautiful” daughter with fiancé Eric Johnson have been sold to People magazine for a cool $850,000.

Not a bad payday for baby Maxi, but well below the selling price for the first photos of Honor Marie Warren, Dannielynn Birkhead and the Jolie-Pitt twins.

But not to fear, Jessica Simpson Maternity is sure to make the I Wanna Love You Forever singer a fortune!

I’m so excited to partner with Destination Maternity to design a collection of fashionable styles that make you look and feel great,” Jessica said. “You want to wear clothes that are flattering to your baby bump; you want to show off your bump.”

The collection is reasonably priced starting at just $36 up to $100. The line will be available in all 700 of Destination Maternity’s stores across the US.

    Her maternity fashion was horrible!

And no surprise she sold the first pictures of her daughter. She’ll make more money off her daughter’s birth (first pics and weight watchers deal) than she has probably made in the past 4 years.

Why waste the space on her? She is trying too hard to stay in the spotlight and will keep pimping out her life for it. Ugh.

Geez, is she donating this $850,000 to charity? It’s not like she needs it… especially with this Weight Watchers deal too. Wow.

Why should she donate it? It’s her kid. If a photo of her kid is worth $850,000 (and I’m not even saying it is), then more power to her.

The idiots are the ones who actually buy the magazines with these photos on the cover. They are the ones that prompt magazines to pay so much for the photos.
