Nicole Richie, Joel Madden and a friend took Sparrow, 2, and Harlow, 4, to the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday (May 16).
The kids looked really interested in the animals. Nicole even snapped photos of the giraffes. At one point, Harlow sat on dad’s shoulder’s while Sparrow did the same thing with a friend.
The Fashion Star flew in with the children last week to join Joel in Australia. He’s one of the judges on The Voice.
She once said of her husband, “You know, Joel barely speaks all day, and then out of nowhere he has 9 million things to say, only for 30 minutes, from 9:00 to 9:30 P.M., when I’m watching Real Housewives.”

She, to me, is a prime example of how people really can! change. She has come a very long way. Adorable family.
I agree somewhat… but I think it is more of an example that people grow up and develop into mature loving parents even if they started out as rich spoiled brats. She is a favorite of mine as well. Does not even seem like same girl who had reality show with Paris Hilton.

All their money and they can’t afford a double stroller?
Maybe they took turns walking/being carried? I don’t see the problem with that. Besides, the picture with Sparrow on Harlow’s lap is adorable.
actually they do have a double stroller. they probably just didn’t bring it to australia with them
