The Apprentice winner Bill Rancic and his lovely wife, Giuliana, have an exciting year ahead of them with the expected birth of their first child via gestational surrogate.
The 41-year old entrepreneur – who believes that the couple has hit the ‘gestational carrier lottery’ – opened up to Parade about fatherhood, what Jr. will be named and who will play the bad cop.
On baby names: “We’re still playing with names. You won’t see any juniors. I think you have to earn that title. If one day we have a son and he chooses to name his son after me, then I’ve earned it! I did a good job as a father and I made him proud. I don’t think it’s something you force on someone. It’s got to be earned. I would never do that. Although Giuliana would like to see a Giuliana Jr., I don’t think that’s going to happen.”
On who will be the disciplinarian: “I hate to say it but she’s going to be the tough one, believe it or not. I’m the softie. When we’re around my nephews, I’m a pushover. She lays down the law. She’s tough. Her parents were very strict. She was never allowed to sleepover at people’s homes. They ran a really tight operation in her house so I think she will surprisingly be the disciplinarian.”
On what gets him excited about fatherhood: “The little things. Falling asleep with the baby on my chest and looking at this perfect miracle. Not to get religious but if you don’t believe in a big man above, look at a baby. It’s so perfect.”

I am I mean they never shut up always running to the media every 5 mins, I guess having a realty show were they pimp out their privet life’s Isen’t enough for them.
If one day his son has a son and chooses to name him after Bill, he will not be a junior! That comment makes no sense.
LOL! That’s exactly what I was thinking when I was reading this….the child would be a II, not a Jr…
I can’t WAIT until they start asking for ‘privacy during this precious time’ or for the paps to leave them alone. Sheesh.
