Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress Charisma Carpenter, 41, was seen taking her 9-year-old son Donovan to a doctor’s appointment in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Wednesday (May 23).
In the past, Charisma has spoken about her reasoning behind appearing on the cover and in a 10 page nude layout in Playboy magazine back in 2004.
“I did Playboy for a very specific reason,” she tells PEOPLE magazine. “Not only was it a good financial move, but it was about the place I was at in my life.”
“I had just had my son and I’d gained 50 lbs. during pregnancy. I wanted to get back to my old self. I wanted to feel desirable and sexy. So I thought, ‘What if I went full throttle?’”

Couldn’t agree more, the CC/CC pregnancy arc on Angel seems like it was just yesterday.
And based on the pictures Charisma posted of Donovan yesterday on twitter, he looks just like his dad Damien.
However, I really don’t see how a photoshoot from 2004 is of any importance to this article.
Love her on both BTVS and Angel! In fact, I watched The Expendables just for Charisma. (It ended up being a pretty good movie, but still.)
