It was a mother-daughter day out for Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise, who were spotted heading home after a dinner date at New York City eatery Pie today (May 30).
The pretty pair seemed in good spirits, with 6-year-old Suri taking in the sights and sounds of the big city as she held on tight to her mom Katie’s hand. Suri, who looked sweet in her pink butterfly-adorned shorts, also carried a favorite furry friend.
Just yesterday we saw the Holmes & Yang designer and her gorgeous girl in Kent, Connecticut, where Katie has been busy working on her latest film The Seagull.

Suri is really growing up…and she’s pretty. I am kind of getting a different feeling from Katie and her lately..like they seem more relaxed (…it’s probably just me:))
Probably because Tom is away filming and the stress level drops for the rest of the family.

Suri is adorable. It’s nice to see her dressed like a little girl. Though I can’t remember ever seeing her wear tennis shoes. She’s always in heels or ballet slippers, it seems like. I have a feeling she’ll put on running shoes someday and trip over herself. LOL

This a random observation (and I’m weird for always noticing) – she always wears those booties!! Every single photo of late is her in those ugly shoes
YES!! They are awful and she is ALWAYS wearing them!
Suri is a very cute young lady. I just wish they would brush her hair or do something with it. Her clothes are most of time cute and she is adorable, but that stringy lanky hair makes her look unkempt.
Looks like Suri’s finally agreed to start wearing pants, lol.
She’s wearing shorts (Suri, that is)! Nice to see her looking more like a relaxed kid. I’d love to see her wear her hair in pig tails or braids.
