Fitness guru and proud new mama Jillian Michaels was seen receiving a wonderful surprise visit at the gym by her partner Heidi Rhoades and their daughter Lukensia, 2, and newborn son Phoenix in Los Angeles, Calif. on Saturday (June 2).
The new mother-of-two – who recently adopted her daughter from Haiti after a painfully long process and welcomed her home the same week Heidi gave birth to the couple’s son – was all smiles as she proudly showed off her new family.
Jillian recently spoke about her immediate connection with her daughter.
“I’ve been to Haiti on and off since I was 27,” she reveals. “I met her a year ago on a trip visiting orphanages for All Blessings International, an organization I work with. I was visiting this one orphanage and the next thing I knew she jumped into my arms.”
“She just grabbed me and clung to me and I immediately felt something,” she continues. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is my daughter.’”
