Confirming that celeb couple David and Victoria Beckham have asked her to take on a very special role in their daughter’s life, Desperate Houswives alum Eva Longoria couldn’t be happier.
‘Victoria asked me to be Harper‘s godmother and of course I said yes,’ the actress reveals to the Mirror. “I’m absolutely thrilled. Harper is simply adorable.”
Eva – who just wrapped up her stint on ABC’s Desperate Housewives – claims that she intends to be a “great” influence on the youngest of the Beckham brood.
“I am a five-time godmother!” she exclaims.
Victoria has often spoken about her love and adorable of her little girl, who often accompanies her famous mother on luxurious shopping trips and business travels.
“Baby Harper is the most beautiful baby girl I have ever seen,” the 38-year-old mother-of-four gushes. “I have fallen in love all over again!”

Why do celebrities only seem to enlist other celebrities as Godparents? I can only assume it’s to widen their “market.”
