Pink Spent Willow’s 1st Birthday In The Hospital

Pink was a little blue for Willow’s first birthday last Saturday (June 2). The God Is A DJ singer was forced to spend a few days in the hospital having her gall bladder removed. Any party plans that were set up for her little girl would be postponed - or would they?

Luckily for the under-the-weather mama, her family ‘got the party started’ bedside at the hospital. “Thanks family 4 bringing my lil girls party to the hospital all weekend for me. I spose it doesn't matter where u r when u eat ur 1st cake!” the 32-year old tweeted.

Pink’s hubby Carey Hart was spotted out with the birthday girl prior to bringing the one year old to the hospital.

The musical mom felt a little guilty for messing up more than birthday plans due to her surgery. She was also slated to perform for the President, Barrack Obama, this week.

I’m so bummed i can’t perform for The President of the United States this Wed night. so now I’ve let down my daughter and the President. wow. great week.”

But on the bright side, Pink shared, “Willow just got a Gucci dress and a custom rocking chair for her birthday, plus some Toms, so it ain’t all bad. lucky little girl.”

“The surgery is laparoscoptic surgery and it takes about an hour and a half. So unless there were complications, she and the hospital are milking it.”

Why judge her stay in the hospital? that is just petty and mean

She spent “a few days” in the hospital after having her gall bladder removed? I had my gall bladder removed too – my surgery was at 8:00 and I was discharged at 12, 4 hours later. There is no need to stay a few days. The surgery is laparoscoptic surgery and it takes about an hour and a half. So unless there were complications, she and the hospital are milking it.

I was in the hospital for a week with mine. I almost died or maybe I was just milking it. I’m sure she loved being stuck in a hospital for her first born child’s first birthday. After all, it’s not a once in a lifetime event or anything.

She had the flu as well; she said on her Twitter account a week ago….so simmer down.

Yes, I’m sure you’re right. Pure genius to criticize someone’s hospital stay. What a moron.

    To Anonymous,
Every surgery is different. I had my gallbladder removed last year and ended up with some serious complications and was in the hospital for 2 weeks. We don’t know her medical history. I’m sure if she could have been out of the hospital she would have been.

What did that person just say? UNLESS THERE WERE COMPLICATIONS! They did specify that.
