Alex Borstein cradled her big baby bump at the premiere of Ted in Hollywood, Calif. on Thursday (June 21).
The actress – who is the voice of Lois Griffin on Family Guy – wore a strapless pink dress with a cropped black jacket. She’s expecting her second child with husband Jackson Douglas – former Gilmore Girls star and who also works on the hit comedy series. Their son Barnaby Borstein Douglas is 3-years-old.
Alex has said she and the cast and crew of Family Guy would love to make the show into a movie.
She said, “It’s something that (creator) Seth (MacFarlane) and everyone else wants to do, it’s just a question of time. It’s not just (about) writing it and making it, because Seth is so picky about quality. He doesn’t want to water down his product.
“We make 22 episodes a season and each show takes nine months (to make). It’s a constant barrage of work and to throw the addition of a movie on there, we’re not sure how we could find the time to keep the quality as high as we’d like.”
