Mario Balotelli To Be A Dad

Mario Balotelli Takes His Girlfriend Shopping In Milan

Although he was crying tears of sadness after losing to Spain on Sunday, there is happy news to report for soccer stud Mario Balotelli and model Raffaella Fico.

The Italian football star, 21, and his ex-girlfriend are expecting their first child together, Sport Mediaset reports. The footballer known as ‘Super Mario’ heard the exciting news ahead of the semi-final match against Germany.

The 24-year-old model has confirmed that baby on-the-way is fathered by the sexy footballer.

Speaking to Italian website Sport Mediaset, Raffaella said, “I called the day before the game against Germany and I said, I’m expecting a baby, it’s your baby.” She continued, “After a pause he said, ‘You gave me the best news of the world.’ ”

The brunette beauty admits she was surprised when she discovered her pregnancy in the middle of May, because she ended her relationship with Mario at the end April.

She said: “Last Christmas, he told me, ‘Let’s get married and make a son,’ and I accepted.”

However, the couple broke up after his numerous alleged affairs.

The mom-to-be, who has appeared on Italy’s Big Brother and previously dated football star Cristiano Ronaldo, added that although the gender of the baby is unknown, Mario will choose the name.

There isn’t a single quote in this entire article that doesn’t make these people sound appalling.

There are three quotes in the article. I’m curious to know which one could be described as “appalling”??????

“I called the day before the game against Germany and I said, I’m expecting a baby, it’s your baby.”

“After a pause he said, ‘You gave me the best news of the world.’ ”

“Last Christmas, he told me, ‘Let’s get married and make a son,’ and I accepted.”

Thank you. It sure isn’t an ideal situation to have a child with an ex, but nothing in those quotes makes me think anything bad about either of them. Hopefully they will find a way to co-parent amiably.

He’s an awesome player but he needs to work a lot on his attitude and manners.

And i think this was translated from Italian right? It sounds awkward.

Ok I don’t know anything about Soccer but I’m assuming he just plays for the Italian team as is not actually Italian right?

Hahahaha! Why is it hard to believe he’s Italian with a name like Mario Balotelli?? He doesn’t quite sound Irish or Dutch to me with that name. Your ignorance is showing.

Mario was adopted by an Italian family. He is Italian, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to play in the Italian national team. Regularly he plays for Manchester City in England.

Why do people ask questions that Google could easily provide them with. Two seconds of searching will tell you that he was born in Palermo, Italy which makes him…. wait for it…. Italian!
