Rockstar papa Richie Sambora and his daughter Ava cooled down with Starbucks green tea smoothies in Calabasas, Calif. on Friday (July 13). The Bon Jovi rocker, 53, wore a US Marine cap and an unbuttoned shirt, while the 14-year-old teen rocked short shorts and a casual tee.
While there’s no new material by Bon Jovi scheduled for release this year, Richie’s album Aftermath of the Lowdown – his third solo set – drops on September 18.
The Bon Jovi guitarist collaborates with a number of accomplished artists on his new album including Fiona Apple, Brooke Fraser, Miranda Lambert, Matt Rollings and Liz Phair.
Ava’s mother is Richie’s ex-wife, Melrose Place alum Heather Locklear.

What a beautiful father and daughter team! Richie looks really well, and Ava is stunning. They have the same facial expression in these photos. It’s lovely to see a father and daughter hang out together as much as Ava and Richie do. Kudos to Richie for being an amazing Dad to her, and also to Ava for being such a lovely daughter
