Carnie Wilson Debuts Weight Loss With Daughters

Carnie Wilson and her daughters at the Farmers Market

She looks amazing!

Wilson Phillips singer Carnie Wilson was all smiles with her daughters Lola, 7, and Luci, 3, at the farmer’s market in Studio City, Calif. on Sunday (July 29). This is the first time we’ve spotted Carnie in months. The mom-of-two, 44, debuted a noticeable weight loss in a patterned maxi dress.

Carnie opened up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about her lifelong struggle with weight.

“It’s been my struggle forever,” she shared. “My own personal demons. I’m not an exercise lover and I’m a food lover, and my body doesn’t have a great metabolism. You put all that together and there’s my challenge.”

And she’s worried about passing her weight issues onto her daughters.

“I worry about it,” she said. “I probably worry more than a parent who doesn’t struggle with their own weight. When I see Lola asking for sugar, it’s like pushing a panic button. I go, ‘Oh no, oh no, she’s going to be fat!” I have to calm down and say, there’s a way to do this. There’s a way to show her that she can have some sugar, but it has to be limited. And it has to be as a dessert, at least most of the time. I want to let her enjoy being a child and have her ice cream and lollipops, but to make sure that she gets that El Pollo Loco frickin’ chicken too. You know?! [laugh]”

Carnie and her sister Wendy Wilson have created a new band called California Saga. It consists of 8 kids of the Beach Boys, making a tribute band to honor their iconic parents.

She better be careful or her daughters are going to follow in her footsteps. Looks like Lola’s already on her way.

Sad to see that she has clearly passed on her food issues to her oldest. It’s hard enough to work against genetics, throw in a mom who has spent her life yo-yo’ing up and down 100+ pounds, and that little girl is in for a tough road.

Is that a sack of white potatoes she is carrying? Well, that is her problem right there! She probably eats WAY too many bad carbs, white starches, and sugars… fat is NOT the enemy when it comes to weight loss, the afore mentioned things are! I bet if she drastically restricted her carbs to only the very healthiest ones like sweet potatoes, she would lose weight and be able to keep it off!
She needs to read Gary Taubes books “Good Calories, Bad Calories” & “Why We Get Fat (and what to do about it)… life changing, eye opening books!

She probably eats way too many bad carbs? I’ve got a newsflash for you, sister:

#1 – You have no idea what she ‘probably’ eats
#2 – A sack of potatos didn’t make this woman overweight. It was either overeating or lack of exercise or a combination of both.

It is utterly ridiculous to think that eating a potato is going to make anyone fat.

Carnie, I am just starting DDP Yoga, I saw an old clip of when you were on it. Why not get back into it again. I have loved you for so many years and have been 240 lbs most of my adult life. At age 65 I will now own my life and get healthy! Love you, Linda
