Sylvester Stallone & Family: Premiere Posse

Sylvester Stallone brings his family to the UK Premiere of 'The Expendables 2' at the Empire Cinema in Leicester Square, London

Rambo alum Sylvester Stallone took his wife Jennifer Flavin and the couple’s three daughters Sophia Rose, 15, Sistine Rose, 14, and Scarlet Rose, 10 to the UK Premiere of The Expendables 2 at the Empire Cinema in Leicester Square, London on Monday (August 13).

After the tragic death of his son Sage, it seems Sly’s half-sister Toni Ann Filiti is in critical condition in UCLA hospital suffering from lung cancer, The New York Post reports.

“After losing my grandson, this has been too much to bear,” Sly’s mom Jackie comments. “Toni Ann is not doing well at all. She has lung cancer Stage 4, she has liver cancer, it has spread to her brain.”

I know I can’t judge what happened behind the closed doors of their home and that work maybe help him go through this, but seeing the family happily posing on red carpets some weeks after Sage death really make me feel uncomfortable

He had a premier to go to, what should he do? Stay home and cry, walk the red carpet and cry or pose with his beautiful family and try and make the best of it despite the circumstances.

Beautiful son passed away a few weeks ago, sister dying in hospitol from cancer but Sly and family out posing as if they didn’t have a care in the world. Would have been more appropriate to let the other aging stars in the movie do the promo pics. This seems disrespectful of his son’s memory.

for those of you judging sylvester for being @ the premiere : there are usually stipulations that say they MUST attend the premier, with very few exceptions. obviously his son passing away is completely DEVASTATING. but his son passing away a MONTH ago, isn’t a reason to miss the premiere (from a legal standpoint, regarding his contract). if it happened in the past week, he wouldn’t be there.

also – he’s always brought his wife and daughters to his premieres. i guarantee that everyone judging him for smiling with his family, would be the same people saying “they’re gettting divorced”!, etc. if he showed up without them. let the man live his life. he just lost his son, and his sister is sick – he still has a job to do. it doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about his family.
