Two years after the Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood stars became proud adoptive dads to their daughter Simone, Tori Spelling‘s BFFs are hoping to add to their family. “We’re ready to adopt again,” Bill tells In Touch, on newsstands this weekend.
Adds Bill: “We can’t wait for Simone to be a big sister.”
But it wasn’t always an easy road for the doting daddies. In the interview, Scout, 38, admits he was often in tears while waiting for the perfect birth mother match. Bill, 40, says they wondered, “Why not us?”
But their famous BFF assured them, “Don’t worry, your baby will find you,” Tori said. And when they got a call from Simone’s birth mother, “It felt like talking to an old friend,” Scout says.
After attending Simone’s birth in June 2010 (they held her mother’s hand during the C-section), the new dads started getting emails from hopeful adoptive parents seeking guidance.
And Hold My Hand was born! Their free-of-charge adoption mentoring service.
“Watching my best friends go through the adoption process was an amazing experience,” Tori tells the mag. “I’m so proud of them for now helping others find their own little angels.”
The Guncles are currently helping Playboy model Holly Madison adopt her first child.
Congratulations to the Masterson-Horn family!
