Alicia Keys & Egypt: Strollin’ In SoHo

Watchful mom Alicia Keys lets little Egypt race ahead during an afternoon walk in New York City

What a handsome little man.

Singer Alicia Keys was snapped while taking a stroll in SoHo, New York with some pals and her adorable son Egypt on Thursday (August 16). The gorgeous mama cruised cautiously behind her little guy, who seemed keen on catching up to his older walking buddy.

Alicia recently announced the title of her new album Girl on Fire and spoke about how she derived the name.

“Girl on Fire is about new beginnings, new perspectives and fresh starts… stripping away all the bad energy in your life and taking full control of the reigns and how you want to live,” she reveals. “There is something really empowering about finding yourself and your own inner strength. On one song, One of the lines I wrote says, ‘I’ll never be perfect, but at least now I’m brave!’”

Alicia is set to debut one of her new songs at 2012 MTV Video Music Awards on September 6th.

“Debuting a new song at the VMAs is definitely special,” she continues. “I debuted No One at the VMAs – it was the first time anyone in the world heard No One and there’s no better place in the whole wide world than the VMAs to do that, so it’s gonna be crazy!”

One of the “pals” is Alicia’s brother (in hat) and the “older walking buddy” is Egypt’s brother (Swizz Beatz’s son w/ Mashonda).

Egypt is a gift from God and a blessing to everyone who loves and cares about him. I feel sorry for you.

          Why?

You do know Shiloh was conserved a year after they got together right. So your statment about her makes no senice and neither dose your comment about Egypt.

You really should have been the one that was terminated when your mother pregnant with you.

Why is she walking so far behind her son on the streets of New York City? Kids that age are known for 2 things, speed and unpredictability.
