Lizzie McGuire star Hilary Duff and her hockey star hubby Mike Comrie took their adorable son Luca, nearly 5 months, to the farmer’s market in Bel Air, Calif. on Saturday (August 18). The new mom, 24, kept it casual in a gray top, black tights and red hi-tops, accessorized by thick-rimmed specs.
The trio stopped for take-out lunch and a fresh coconut on the casual family outing.
“Ok it’s official! Very excited about my development deal with 20th century fox!! t.v. here I come! 
,” Hilary announced via Twitter on Monday.
A rep for 20th Century Fox told Entertainment Weekly that Duff has signed a one-year deal for a 30 minute sitcom that she will star in and produce.

If being in Lizzie McGuire almost TEN years ago still qualifies her as a “star”, playing hockey TWO years ago certainly would still qualify him.
