Rocker mama and fashion designer Gwen Stefani, 42, was snapped taking for two boys Kingston, 6, and 4-year-old Zuma out costume shopping on Sunday (August 25) in Studio City, Calif.
After frequenting stores such as Sports Authority, the stylish singer took her two dressed up dudes – Kingston was a cowboy and Zuma, who recently celebrated his 4th birthday with a costume party, was Batman – to the park where they enjoyed riding scooters, launching toy rockets and chilling out with some cool treats from an ice cream truck.
After an 11-year break, Gwen has reunited with No Doubt and the band is set to release their sixth studio album – Push and Shove – on Sept. 25th.
She recently joked to New York Magazine’s Vulture that returning to music has been a “nice break” from taking care of her superhero boys. She admitted the band’s priorities have shifted now that all four members are parents.
“Like today, for instance, I told [the band], ‘I cannot do twelve-hour days anymore, stop it!’ ” she laughs. “I just missed Kingston and Zuma going to sleep.”
“It’s actually a nice break — my kids are so much work,” she adds. “No Spider-Man for me tonight, but that’s okay. I’ll take a break.”
