Salma Hayek, her husband Francois-Henri Pinault and their daughter Valentina were seen getting off a boat in Venice, Italy on Sunday (September 2). The family were in the city so that Salma could attend the 69th Venice Film Festival. At the event she presented the 2012 Gucci Award for Women in Cinema to film editor Thelma Schoonmaker.
Keeping with the glamour of Venice – the 45-year-old actress looked chic in an orange dress while Valentina sported sunglasses. The day before she wore a cute lace cream dress with a tan coat.
Salma once told USA Today she is happy that she can balance work with motherhood.
She said, “It’s working out really well. (Valentina) is really smart, and she’s really young. If later on it gets in the way of her development, I’ll just stop working. For right now, it works. I work mostly in the summers. I usually work in the Sandler family or with Kevin James. I’m really good friends with the wives, and the kids are the same age.
“It works out for me. For right now, I go day by day. If in the future, she has to stay in Paris and it’s too much of a separation, I’ll stop working.”
