The Odd Life of Timothy Green star Jennifer Garner was photographed with 3-year-old daughter Seraphina on Monday (September 10) in Santa Monica, Calif.
The actress, 40, gave her daughter a piggyback ride as they went to the police station to rescue papa Ben Affleck‘s car that was recently towed.
Also mom to daughter Violet, 6, and son Samuel, 6 months, Jen recently opened up about her parenting doubts.
After questioning if she’s too “Tiger Mom” when trying to guide her kids, Jen pondered, “This is the kind of mothering — okay, parenting — conundrum that keeps me up at night. How do I know if I’m getting it right?”
She added: “Isn’t it my job to parent, to encourage, to help my child define themselves? Or should I step out of the way and let them be led by their passions? Do kids understand their passions without getting past the boring fundamentals?”

Unless Jen’s daughter has her driver’s licence, I’m not quite sure how that would work assuming they drove there in another vehicle.
I doubt Jen or the police told the paps or this site what she was doing there.
I really like how we see Jen 1 on 1 with her kids and spending time with them each. That’s so nice to see! She’s not dragging all 3 around town constantly with bodyguards and nannies…
What are you try to get at with that comment?
It’s good that she spend one on one time with each but what would be the problem her taking all three out.
If I had to guess, I’d say she’s just commenting on the fact that Jennifer usually doesn’t bring a team of nannies along on every outing(??) and that it’s nice that she’s able to spend time with each child individually.
That’s funny because other commenters rip Katherine Heigl to shreds for being seen with just one daughter.
I don’t know what Katherine Heigl has to do with it, I was just speculating on what the original commenter meant.
What Anonymous 5:10pm is getting at is Katherine Heigl was seen with her husband and youngest daughter and people were B%ing about how she neglecting her oldest daughter and all she dose is leave her with the nanny.
Now J Garner is seen with just one of her children and is getting praised for it.
Exactly… Of course, there’s no way of knowing if it’s the same people praising here, and bitching there.
Jen’s post-baby body is looking good and Seraphina is a living doll.
