Alanis Morissette’s Brazil Baby

Alanis Morissette: Family Time in Rio

Guardian singer Alanis Morissette was all smiles with her adorable son Ever, 20 months, and husband Mario “Souleye” Treadway in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Monday (September 10). The family-of-three were headed out for some sightseeing in the beautiful city.

Last week, we spotted the Morissette-Treadways arriving in the seaside city to kick off her Brazilian tour.

The self-proclaimed “attached parent”, 38, recently revealed that the song Numb on her new album Havoc and Bright Lights was written about her recovery from postpartum depression.

“It was just a really intense time, and if I could share anything with anyone who’s going through it, it would be to encourage them to seek help and reach out a little earlier than I did,” Alanis said of her struggles with PPD.

    Lovely baby!
FYI, Jenny Schafer, I like your posts a lot, but Rio is not the capital of Brazil, it’s Brasilia.
Rio is just one of the largest, most famous and beautiful cities.

I hope that when you call Rio de Janeiro “capítal city” you don’t mean as the capital of Brazil. Because, you now, it isn’t.
