Nine-time Grammy Award-winning singer Sheryl Crow was all smiles with her sweet sons – Wyatt, 5, and Levi, 2 – in New York City on Tuesday (September 11). The trio paid their respects to the heroes of 9/11 by visiting a NYFD station before having lunch.
On Sunday, we saw the All I Wanna Do singer, 50, and her elder son enjoying some one-on-one time in the Big Apple.
During her recent appearance on Katie Couric’s new talk show, Katie, Sheryl weighed in on her ex-fiancé’s high-profile controversy.
“He’s someone I really care about,” Sheryl said of Lance Armstrong, just weeks after he was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles due to accusations he used performance-enhancing drugs throughout his career.
“I know how hard he worked to win those titles and it was hard to watch,” she shared. “I felt bad for him, I felt bad for his family. … He’s a hero that we’ve watched for a long time and admired.”
She added: “I don’t see him … (but) knowing him, I have to imagine that the fact that he just said, ‘Look, take them (titles)…’ He’s probably tired of the whole fight.”
