Name: Deacon Reese Phillippe

Date of Birth: October 23, 2003

Parents: Reese Witherspoon & Ryan Phillippe

Siblings: Ava, 13 & Tenness, nearly 1-month-old

Facts:

♥ Deacon is apparently named after former Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Deacon Phillippe – a distant relative of his father

♥ Deacon may also be brother to 1-year-old Kailani Merizalde Phillippe Knapp (Ryan dated model Alexis Knapp in the summer of 2010 and after they split, she discovered she was pregnant. Although no paternity test has been taken, Ryan was reportedly present for Kailani’s birth)

Quotes:

“I have a pretty normal life, outside of what I do for a living which is kind of crazy and I travel a lot and I get to go on talk shows and all that kind of fun stuff. I have a pretty regular life. I get the kids off to school in the morning and I go to work at my office and pick them up from school and hang out. And we like to cook and jump on the trampoline a lot. My daughter and I are obsessed with the trampoline and my son and I like to throw the football around or we’ll play basketball in the driveway and that’s pretty much it.” – mama Reese on her family life.

“Being a father is by far my greatest achievement and the most important thing about me. My mother had a day-care center in my house while I was growing up. And I come from a big family on the East Coast. We grew up helping take care of and raise kids, so it’s like second nature to me.” – papa Ryan on fatherhood.

Happy Birthday Deacon! I just realised, all 3 of Reese’s kids birthday’s occur within about 5 or 6 weeks. I remember Ava’s bday coming up on here, as her birthday was 9/9/99, Reese recently had Tenessee and now Deacon’s birthday! That’s a lot of birthdays!
