Kelsey Grammer: We Took Faith To A Playboy Party For A Good Reason

"Boss" Season Premiere

Father-of-five Kelsey Grammer and his wife Kayte are defending their decision to bring their 3-month-old daughter Faith to the famous Playboy mansion Halloween party this past weekend.

Although a photo posted by TMZ showing the sleeping infant nestled snugly in her baby carrier caused quite a stir,  Kelsey claims the couple had a very good reason to bring their baby girl to the annual party.

“Kayte is breast feeding and we do not have a nanny or a trusted baby-sitter at this time, so Faith goes everywhere with us,” the 57-year-old Boss actor reveals in a statement to USA Today. “We enjoyed the party with a few of our friends, the baby slept as her ears were covered the entire time and we left shortly after midnight.”

“Kayte dressed as a witch (her hat was missing as she had removed it because her wig was itching and it was hot) —- I threw together an uninspired Dracula,” he shares. “We enjoyed the evening. We love our child.”

Kelsey is also father to children Mason, 10, and Jude, 7, with his ex-wife Camille Grammer, daughter Spencer with ex-wife Dorren Alderman and daughter Kandace Greer from a previous relationship

That is a really lame excuse. If you cannot find a babysitter and/or the mother needs to be with the child to breastfeed, then you don’t go to a party. Plain and simple.

I assume you are either a man or a formula mother.

I am a mother who breastfed her child, and when I couldn’t leave my daughter – I never took her anywhere that wasn’t appropriate for her. The playboy mansion is FAR from appropriate for any child, even an infant. Kelsey and Kayte didn’t have enough common sense to not take their child with them, but I would have hoped that the playboy mansion wouldn’t allow children. Plain and simple – no child or infant should be allowed at the playboy mansion. And if the parents aren’t able to figure that out on their own, they definitely need to take quite a few parenting classes.

The thing that bothers me the most about this – is they know what it’s like to lose a child. And here little Faith is, barely 3 months old, and she’s being taken to a halloween party at the playboy mansion! Here’s an idea for Kelsey and Kayte : how about you appreciate the fact that you have been blessed with a beautiful, healthy child, and give up going to the playboy mansion for a few years. I promise you – you’ll be okay.

I read on another site that his new wife dressed like his EX-wife. Black lace dress and blonde wig. I think his comment above about her not wearing her “witch” hat due to itchy wig is just a cover story because reception they received about costume was not positive. (JUST MY GUESS). Very classless to dress like your hubby’s ex-wife esp. when there are children involved.
