Mountain Buggy, you had me at “Lightweight and compact.” Compact is pretty important when you are packing for a roadtrip to move across country from one military instillation to another. Where will I fit the Mountain Buggy Duet that I have? Not in the car full of suitcases! As someone who flies with my baby by myself every few months, I definitely like that it is collapsible with one hand. Going through TSA is a nightmare with my current umbrella stroller since you need 2 hands to collapse it. I have to ask/beg a good Samaritan in line to help me with it.

The Mountain Buggy Mini is just the perfect compact baby gear item for our move. The military is sending us across country– but a road trip with not a lot of space in the back of the car for needed gear…… 2 kids…. no van….. you get my point. I think My mountain Buggy Duet is wonderful, but…. I don’t have room for many wonderful things in the car on the trip. This would be a help and would keep me in Mountain Buggy!

We are a mountain buggy family! We’ve had the urban and the terrain and loved them both. As for the mini, my favourite thing about it is a small detail – the velcro-free peekaboo flap. I love that the mini is small and durable, the one-handed fold, and many other things about it, but it’s this attention to detail that I love most! MB designers must be parents because they KNOW velcro is loud and will wake a slumbering babe.
