There’s a baby on the way for Love and Theft‘s Eric Gunderson and his wife Emily!
The country star shared the happy news this week, telling PEOPLE, “I’ve wanted to be a father forever, and now I feel like we’re in a place in our career where it won’t be the most nerve-wracking thing ever. I feel like I can support a family now. It will be good. We’re really excited.”
Due on May 18, the baby will be the first for the couple, who tied the knot in 2010.
The mom-to-be says she can’t wait to begin this next chapter of their lives together: “I’m beyond excited to share another journey through life with my best friend and husband. I pray not only for a healthy baby, but for a baby that is as talented in music as his sweet and handsome father!”
