Gavin Rossdale & Kingston Step Out For Sushi

Gavin and Kingston Rossdale make a run for Sushi

Rockstar papa Gavin Rossdale and his 6-year-old son Kingston were photographed on Sunday (November 11) in Studio City, Calif. Accompanied by the nanny, the father-son duo enjoyed lunch at Midori Sushi.

The day before, the trio were seen shopping at Alternative in sunny Venice.

Noticeably absent were mama, popstar Gwen Stefani, and lil’ bro Zuma, 4.

Gwen and her youngest son have been spotted in Europe as she promotes her latest album with No Doubt.

Pathetic that a young(ish), able-bodied man can’t manage an outing with 1 child without a nanny.

Unless the child is overly rambunctious, aggressive, etc., etc., a grown man should be able to “manage” a 6 year old. In this case, dude simply chooses not to. He can afford the help and chooses to use it 24/7, end of story. From the kid’s perspective it’s a bit strange (and a shame) that Dad doesn’t seem to want to be alone one-on-one with him.

I don’t think Kingston or Zuma are overly rambunctious, aggressive, etc because their are a lot of pictures with both boys out and about with only one nanny, so if the nannies can do a 1 on 1 with the kids why can’t Gewn or Gavin?

I do wonder why we always see a nanny with Gavin or Gwen even when they are with just one kid, something that they presumably could handle. I don’t think I would want a nanny all the time; I would want some 1:1 time with my child.

Although most of us parents would love an extra pair of hands to help out, we also like to spend time with our kids alone. If you can’t tolerate being alone with your child going on a simple outing, then why have kids in the first place??

In this instance, the child is 6 years old and presumably, self-sufficient (i.e. verbal, toilet trained, no need to be carried etc.). It might make sense if it was a new mom with an infant &/or a demanding toddler. I think this guy’s just a “diva” and needs nanny to deal with the challenges and heavy lifting that go with being a parent.

All you assholes would hire a nanny in a heartbeat if you could. So now go crawl back into your miserable little shells you call life.

Read the comments again twit because you’re missing the point. People aren’t up in arms over nannies, they/we are simply pointing out that this guy is never pictured ALONE with his kid(s) – he always seems to need a nanny along for the ride.

Anonymous- What a rude comment. Is all the name calling really necessary?? Dont judge what others would do…. I think the point of most of commentors is that they would prefer some one on one time with their child and not have a nanny at every outing. No one is knocking the nanny just the use of one in this instance.
