It looks like singing superstar Beyoncé and her sister Solange‘s kids are becoming just as close as they are.
“[Blue] and Julez are going to grow up more like sister and brother than cousins,” Solange, 26, reveals to New York Magazine about her son Daniel Julez, 8, and her 9-month-old niece Blue Ivy‘s relationship.
“Blue comes over, I babysit,” she continues. “[Beyoncé ] takes Julez sometimes for the weekend.”
In fact, the singing siblings support each other in many ways – and they’ve been especially close since the Solange got pregnant with Julez when she was 17.
Motherhood “was always chill and easy,” Solange says. “[But] marriage is a whole ‘nother ball game.”
In the time leading up to her divorce, Solange reveals that she turned to her older sibling for counsel.
“Every time there was drama and I was all the way in Idaho, it was nice to be able to call [Beyoncé].”
Now that the sisters live closer – Solange recently moved to New York with Julez and her music video director boyfriend Alan Ferguson – they can see each other whenever they want.

I hopfully before the end of the year we will see some brand new pics of Blue Ivy (uncovered) soon.
Her comments crack me up… how can a 9 month old and an 8 year old be VERY close? Do they text ?? hang out at the mall? go to movies together? or just babble together??? LOL
Especially when the 8 year old is a boy — not too many of them are terribly interested in infants!
Maybe she just means they spend a lot of time together and that Julez helps out with the baby.
It happens, you know. No need to be so cynical.
NYC Mommy, you took the words right out of my mouth. Some people are so dramatic. How can they be “close”?
