Christina Applegate: Sadie Is Obsessed With Santa

Actress Christina Applegate gets a surprise visit on the set of "Up All Night" from her daughter Sadie Grace in Los Angeles

Funnylady Christina Applegate opened up about her Santa-obsessed daughter Sadie, 21 months, during a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

“She’s starting to get into holidays, it’s wonderful,” the Up All Night star, 40, shared. ”She’s really, really into Santa Claus right now. She’s obsessed. She holds a Santa doll and a reindeer doll all day long. If she doesn’t have it, she gets really pissed off,” she joked.

It seems Sadie talks about Santa so much, Christina fears she’ll be over him come the holidays.

“I started teaching her about Santa Claus a long time ago, so I’m nervous that she’s not going to love him by the time we get to Christmas,” the mom-of-one said. “She loves Santa Claus so much that we hear her singing “Jingle Bells” and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” in her sleep.”

The actress goes on to say it’s “mandatory” for her little girl to visit the set of her hit TV show, Up All Night, on a daily basis.

“I try to get her there every day,” she said of her daughter’s on-set visits. “I’m there from 6:30 in the morning to the time she’s in bed, so it’s mandatory.”

And it sounds like there’s plenty of time for A-list playdates at the family-friendly studio.

“We have a little play area attached to my room and all the kids will come and play. Maya [Rudolph] has kids and Will [Arnett] has kids so it’s always tons of kids.”

My son loved singing Santa Claus Is Coming To Town when he was about 4. We sang it every night before bed for about a year.

She sure is a beautiful baby, and with a normal, traditional name. I’ve always liked Christina Applegate, she seems genuine.
