Congratulations are in order for A.J. McLean and Rochelle Karidis!
The Backstreet Boys singer and his wife have welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Ava Jaymes McLean, on Tuesday (November 27), In Touch reports.
“We are all doing well and are thrilled to welcome Ava to the world,” the proud new papa tells the mag.
Baby Ava was born in L.A. at 4:51 a.m., weighing in at 7 lbs and 7 oz.

This April—only four months after tying the knot— the former boy bander and his makeup artist wife shared their exciting pregnancy news.
“I just wanted to say thank you guys for all your love and support,” A.J. shared. “Because we love you all so much, we wanted to share with you – for the first time – something very special. We’re having a baby!”
Then in July, the singer took to Twitter to announce the gender – and chosen name – of their baby.
“Yay we’re having a baby girl!!!!!” he tweeted. “Little baby Ava Jaymes.”
The proud papa recently said that Baby Ava will be the first “Backstreet girl.” AJ’s bandmates Brian Littrell, Kevin Richardson and Howie Dorough are all fathers of baby boys.
