Dawson’s Creek alum Katie Holmes and daughter Suri were bundled up for the chilly weather in New York City on Thursday (November 29). The adorable 6-year-old was seen holding tight to a stuffed animal that she did not want to let go.
Later that evening Katie was all smiles at the after-party for the official opening of her new Broadway show, Dead Accounts. She posed on the red carpet with costar Norbert Leo Butz at the Music Box Theater.
The limited-run show is a timely story of a con man who returns home suddenly flush with cash and upsets the order in his tight-knit family (including his sister, played by Katie).
The play – which opened to mixed reviews – marks the first project Katie has taken on since her high-profile divorce from Tom Cruise.
