Megan Fox: Kassius Is “Indifferent” To Baby Noah

*EXCLUSIVE* Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox take Kassius to BOA

Although Transformers star Megan Fox is smitten over her 2-month-old son Noah, not everyone in the family is quite so enthusiastic about the newest addition.

“Kash is a little indifferent,” the 26-year-old new mama tells the U.K.’s Daily Mirror of Noah’s stepbrother Kassius (mama is Brian Austin Green‘s ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil). “He’s not experiencing any sort of jealousy or competitiveness, but he’s not excited because he just wants to go play video games.”

Papa Brian, on the other hand, is nothing short of a doting dad.

“My husband is amazing,” Megan gushes. “He does more work than I do and he’s just a champ…He’s so helpful and nurturing and amazing…He’s my soul mate.”

“I love [motherhood],” she continues. “It’s what I’ve wanted to do since I was a little girl.”

Brian and Megan welcomed their son in September.

They’re not stepbrothers. They’re half brothers.

Awww that’s sweet, glad to hear it’s not a jealousy thing. So happy to know that Megan and Brian include him as a huge part of their lives. (I don’t know what I mean by that because I don’t know why they would ignore him for a new baby.) She is absolutely fabulous and I am so excited for them. I hope they have 2 more :)

Indifference is a common sign of jealousy in preadolescent kids in these situations. He probably has mixed feelings about his little brother, and is unsure about how to handle them. His interaction with his little brother has probably been minimal. He may feel guilt and shame for not having more contact and possibly for any negative feelings. He may also have a sense of betrayal towards his father and resentment towards his step-mother and brother. At any rate, I recommend that both parents sit down with Kassius and explain to him that just because he has a little brother now, does not mean that they will love him any less. It is also a good idea to remind him every day how much he is loved and appreciated.
