Since welcoming son Tennessee in September, Reese Witherspoon joked that she’s not exacting “bouncing back” to her pre-baby body.
“I don’t know if I’m bouncing back. I’m slowly crawling back,” she told Extra at the March of Dimes Celebrates Babies event in Beverly Hills on Friday (December 7).
But she’s definitely got a bad case of “baby brain.”
“I couldn’t remember, the other day, what you call that thing that keeps the food cold. It was the refrigerator,” joked the Oscar-winner, 36, who’s also mom to Ava, 13, and Deacon, 8½. “I couldn’t remember the name of it!”
The new mom-of-three is sure to be “patient” with herself.
“You just have to be gentle and patient with yourself,” she added, “and slowly get back to your health.”
And she was sure to gush about her newborn son, saying he is “great. He’s wonderful, healthy, happy.”
The Walk the Line actress said she is looking forward to building gingerbread houses and making their own ornaments this holiday season.
