Proud new papa Nick Lachey was seen taking his 3-month-old son Camden for a stroll – and the dog too – around Sherman Oaks, Calif. on Monday (December 10th).
When it comes to caring for little Camden, Nick is a very involved and hands-on father.
“The sleep deprivation and all the stuff that people warn you about, [I was] so ready to do it, because it’s your first-born. I’m not scared of that kind of stuff,’ Nick reveals to Rachael Ray.
“I’m in there changing diapers, and anything I can do to help out be a part of this whole thing, because they don’t stay this [age] forever,” he adds. “I want to take every moment and really appreciate it.”
His wife Vanessa Lachey agrees.
“He’s the best. I’m really lucky. He changes them a lot,” Vanessa says of Nick’s diaper duties.
“Since I nurse, Nick sees that as his bonding time. He’ll talk and sing to him while doing it.” she continues.
“He’s smiling at the sound of our voices now. He’s so peaceful — he just sits there and takes it all in with his bright blue eyes. He has his daddy’s eyes!”
Nick and Vanessa welcomed their son in September.
