Dawson’s Creek alum Katie Holmes picked up her daughter Suri on Tuesday (December 11) from her New York City, N.Y. school. The pair were bundled up in their puffy winter coats to keep warm.
Suri munched on a candy cane as she said farewell to her school friends before heading home with her mama.
Sounds like the Kennedy’s actress will be sans her daughter over Christmas.
The 6-year old’s papa, Rock of Ages star Tom Cruise, told People that he plans to spend the holidays with all three of his kids including his two children – Bella, 20, Connor, 17 – from his first marriage to Nicole Kidman.

Suri owns a coat?
yeah….she’s been wearing a coat for years now.
It’s great to see her having a normal life, going to school and etc. being apart from that religious crap her father wanted to suck down her throat. Katie is a good mom and sure is doing what’s best for her child.
She would an even better mom if she put some tights on her daughter.
Mine refuses to wear tights sometimes. She doesn’t always feel the cold.
I love seeing photos of suri these days. She’s free to be a child. She looks gorgeous as does her mum.
