Nick Cannon Gives Back This Holiday Season

Pastry Shoes Presents "Skate & Donate"

America’s Got Talent star Nick Cannon helped host the Skate & Donate event at Moonlight Rollerway in Glendale, Calif. on Saturday (December 8). The charitable event, sponsored but Pastry Shoes and N’Credible, requested that guests bring unwrapped toys for kids in need.

“It’s all about giving back to the young people,” Nick told Celebrity Baby Scoop at the event. “Toys for Tots is an amazing organization that gives to the less fortunate. I remember receiving presents from Toys for Tots when I was a kid, and it’s awesome that I can give back to them now.”

With all Pastry Shoes ambassadors in attendance – including Angela Simmons, Vanessa Simmons, Jessica Jarrell, Alli Simpson and Mz Bratt –  the fun event kicked off the holiday season.

And how does Nick plan to spend the holidays with wife Mariah Carey and their 1 1/2-year-old twins Moroccon and Monroe?

“I plan on chilling and hanging out with the family,” Nick said. “You know, chestnuts roasting by an open fire [laughs].”

It’s sure to be a very Merry Christmas for the Carey-Cannon family this year.

“I absolutely love it!,” Nick gushed of parenthood with his lovely wife.

I find Nick and Mariah such a strange mix. He seems so humble and down to earth, but they seem very in love so obviously they’re making it work somehow.
