New Mom Anna Faris: I’m Not Using Nannies

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt at the Los Angeles premiere of 'Zero Dark Thirty'

At the recent premiere of hubby Chris Pratt‘s new movie Zero Dark Thirty, Anna Faris opened up about her svelte postpartum figure — and their childcare situation.

“I think it’s from hauling around the little guy,” said the Scary Movie star tells E! of shedding the baby weight just 3-months after welcoming son Jack.

Saying she wants to “cherish” her time with her newborn son, Faris added, “I’m trying to do it without help. So it’s been a lot of lifting.”

And it sounds like Pratt has been every bit the supportive husband.

“I have the sweetest husband,” she said. “He makes me feel good at any weight. In fact, I kinda think that he likes it when my butt is a little bit bigger.”

Speaking of weight, Pratt opened up about losing weight for his film.

“I was about 50 pounds lighter than I am now,” Pratt said of his physique in Zero Dark Thirty. “I cut out the bad stuff for a really long time to try to somewhat have a Navy SEAL body.”

And they opened up about their plans for baby Jack’s first Christmas.

“My family is coming down and we’re going to be low-key,” Faris said. “We’re basically going to try to get some sleep,” Pratt added.

Faris joked, “We can toss the baby off to my parents.”
