SMF: “They can’t wait for the holidays. It’s our favorite time of year. We love cooking, baking, doing crafts and sitting around the Christmas tree together, spending quality time as a family.”
CBS: What are some of the ways you celebrate the holidays with your girls?
SMF: “We love having movie nights and making all sorts of goodies, from delicious treats to homemade presents.
This year we did something really special and the girls and I went to one of our favorite organizations, Baby2Baby, over the weekend where they held an awesome celebration for underprivileged kids. We worked the hot chocolate stand and my little ones loved it. I think the holidays are a great time to teach our kids about the importance of giving back.”

SMF: “Not yet, but I’ll let you know when it happens!”
CBS: With such a busy family life and career, how do you and your husband keep the romance alive?
SMF: “Making time for each other, putting our gadgets and other distractions away and having time to be one-on-one. It can be as simple as spending time together after the kids go to sleep, catching up on life, and making the effort to connect.”
