A new photo from Romeo Beckham’s modeling shoot for Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2013 campaign has been released. This time the 10-year-old wears a purple metallic belted trench and sunglasses.
Burberry Chief Creative Office Christopher Bailey said, “[Romeo] was a joy to work with and really stole the show. This season’s campaign lights up with the infectious energy of an amazing young cast of old and new Burberry family.”
He added, “We had such fun shooting the campaign and I think that comes through in the images, which really reflect the upbeat spirit of the collection.”
According to The Telegraph Romeo won’t be in a Vogue editorial shoot anytime soon according to Alexandra Shulman. She Tweeted: “Romeo Beckham @Burberry doesn’t meet Vogue model health initiative criteria of over 16’s only @BritishVogue.”
Shulman clarified: “To clarify Vogue no under sixteen model ban is in pages of our magazine. We don’t control runways or advertising.”
She also wrote: “[A]pparently Master Beckham wasn’t accompanied by his famous parents on the shoot with Mario Testino, but with his nanny and bodyguard.”
Basically Romeo could not be considered for an editorial shoot in Vogue but that doesn’t mean the magazine won’t be running the ads.
