It’s a girl for Nathan Followill and his wife Jessie Baylin!

The Kings of Leon rocker’s daughter Violet Marlowe Followill was born in Nashville on December 26, a rep confirms to PEOPLE.

Announcing the pregnancy in June, Nathan Tweeted, “I can proudly announce that me & the lovely @JessieBaylin are expecting our first child. I’m beyond excited/anxious. Life is beautiful.”

It’s been a big year for the Kings of Leon on the family front: Singer Caleb Followill and his wife Lily Aldridge welcomed their daughter Dixie Pearl this summer as well.

Congratulations to Nathan and Jessie!
