Sheree opens up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about her “well balanced, smart, respectful” kids, their holiday plans, and her upcoming “positive projects that motivate, inspire, and empower women.”
CBS: Tell us about your new jewelry line, The She by Sheree Collection. Tell us about the pieces and the inspiration behind your line.
SW: “I drew my inspiration for my new jewelry line from women who inspire me. I really had a specific type of woman in mind when creating The She by Sheree Collection. A woman who is active and fashionable, family oriented, cares about her health and yet does it all with a budget in mind…I love to interact with this woman. She is my inspiration.
The line itself was designed as chic, feminine pieces that sparkle in gold and crystal. The colors are bold and intense with exaggerated geometric shapes and simple crystals to create dramatic, wearable pieces. I wanted the line to be versatile so women can wear the pieces for day or night. It was also important that I keep the pieces affordable. Prices range from $30-$75.
Here is a link to my online store where people can make purchases and view the line.”
CBS: Tell us about your children — what are their names and ages? What are they into?
SW: “I have three kids. Tierra, 20 something years old, Kairo, 16 years old and Kaleigh, 13 years old.
My kids are all pretty well balanced, smart, respectful and active. Kairo is pretty laid back. Kaleigh and Tierra are the social butterflies. Kaleigh plays soccer, rides horses, take gymnastics and is a cheerleader. She also enjoys hanging out with her friends and going to the mall. Kairo plays football and enjoys playing video games and basketball. Tierra is working on her career with a great company and has become very independent and responsible.
Being a mother is such an awesome job. Watching them grow up and make wise decisions and better choices makes me appreciate and love them more every day…if that’s even possible. They never cease to amaze me,”
CBS: Please share with us one of your favorite motherhood memories.
SW: “I know this may sound corny, but life is short. This season I will cherish and love every minute with my kids and my family.”
CBS: Are you excited about the holiday season? Please tell us some of your favorite holiday traditions.
SW: “I’m always excited about holidays. My family has always been extremely close and the holidays is just another reason for us to get together, cook, tell stories, reminisce, play cards/games and laugh like never before. We also have lots of friends we invite over who don’t have family here locally and need a place to hang out.”
CBS: Do you miss being on RHOA?
SW: “I think the thing I miss most about being on the show is being able to connect to so many people. There were so many people that were going through some of the things I went through on the Housewives. Or even the girls/women that would write and say that they loved my strength and I helped them get through something or just simply that they could relate to me on the show.
Being able to affect people in a good way is a rewarding feeling and I’m glad I was given that opportunity. That really helped inspire my next career move – my jewelry line. I love bringing out individuality in women in what I do. My new jewelry line has been my first endeavor after Housewives in what I want to do – inspire women and help women to be stylish and healthy.”
CBS: What’s up next for you?
SW: “Some wonderful things! There will be more to come with She By Sheree. And Chateau Sheree will be up and running soon. Most importantly, I’ll be working on positive projects that motivate, inspire, and empower women.”
