Gavin Rossdale & Boys: Sunday Smiles

Gavin Rossdale takes his Boys out for a day of Reptiles

Gavin Rossdale took his two sons – Kingston, 6 and Zuma, 4 – out for a boys afternoon to watch the Reptile Show in Los Angeles, Calif. Sunday (January 6). The threesome were joined by the kids’ auntie Soraya while the Bush frontman’s wife, Gwen Stefani, missed out on the fun.

The Stefani-Rossdale clan were spotted a few days earlier (January 4) arriving at LAX airport in Los Angeles after spending the holidays in England. Looks like the youngster was exhausted from the overseas trip.

Being married for 10 years now is an amazing feat especially in Hollywood. The No Doubt singer told Marie Claire, “My biggest accomplishment is my marriage so far. (Marriage) is something that I always wanted to do successfully. It was a dream of mine. (Our relationship) is better than it’s ever been, like we’re learning about each other all the time.

“Gavin’s an amazing dad and he works so hard… He balances me out. And he never stops liking me, which is awesome! It makes me feel happy that someone likes me as much as he does.”

I see they cut Zuma’s hair; he looks very cute. I also see the re-dyed Kingston’s hair. This kid is so cute but going to lose his hair they way they keep dying it. Please leave his hair color alone.

WHY would any mother dye her child’s hair? Since her oldest was a toddler, Gwen has used chemicals to turn Kingston into a blond. At the very least, this is sending the message to him that he’s not as appealing with his natural coloring. It’s one thing for a teen to assert his/her personality when it comes fashion/appearance, but when such a young child uses hair dye, it’s clearly the parent’s choice. Gwen should treasure her oldest’s dark hair just as she appreciates her youngest’s blond locks!

Kat – I couldn’t agree with you more. She’s sending a message that dark hair is no good.
