Our hearts go out to Bode Miller and his wife Morgan Beck.
After announcing their pregnancy news in December, the 35-year-old “bad boy” downhill skier and his professional volleyball playing wife lost their baby on Saturday.
“Pretty hard morning. We lost the baby,” Morgan tweeted Saturday night. “Broken hearted but getting through it together,”
According to the New York Daily News, Morgan’s tweet came hours after reports surfaced that her husband had filed paternity lawsuits against two other women.
TMZ reports that Bode is suing a pregnant woman named Sara McKenna for joint custody of their unborn son. He is also reportedly suing a woman named Chanel Johnson for joint custody of their 4-year-old daughter in addition to child support payments.
Sara says she plans to fight Bode’s custody request, claiming the ski champion previously wanted nothing to do with the baby and that he had initially denied paternity.
“I will be fighting this in court and will not give up my son to someone who didn’t want him to begin with,” she tells TMZ.
Sara says she and Bode dated sporadically in spring 2012 – before he met Morgan – and that the pregnancy was unplanned.
Bode and Morgan married in October.
