Sheryl Crow & Her Beach Boys

Sheryl Crow Takes Her Boys To The Beach

Soak Up the Sun singer Sheryl Crow was all smiles with her sons – Wyatt, 5 1/2, and Levi, 2 1/2 – in Venice, Calif. on Wednesday (January 23). The nine time Grammy Award-winner had a blast with her boys at the beach where they played in the sand, went for a bike ride, and made a splash in the water.

Sheryl’s ex-fiancé, “disgraced” cyclist Lance Armstrong, is making headlines with his recent doping confession. The mom-of-two addressed the scandal earlier this week.

“I think that honesty is always the best bet and that the truth will set you free,” Sheryl told Entertainment Tonight.

While she caught “bits and pieces” of Lance’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, Sheryl added, ”To carry around a weight like that would be devastating in the long run.”

Last year, the All I Wanna Do singer weighed in on her ex-fiancé’s high-profile controversy.

“He’s someone I really care about,” Sheryl said of Lance, just weeks after he was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles due to accusations he used performance-enhancing drugs throughout his career.

“I know how hard he worked to win those titles and it was hard to watch,” she shared. “I felt bad for him, I felt bad for his family. … He’s a hero that we’ve watched for a long time and admired.”

She added: “I don’t see him … (but) knowing him, I have to imagine that the fact that he just said, ‘Look, take them (titles)…’ He’s probably tired of the whole fight.”

Lance, 41, and Sheryl, 50, began dating in 2003 — the same year that Lance divorced his wife of five years, Kristin. They later split in 2006.

Why does everyone keep talking about what she might have known? Leave the woman alone!
