Did Kristen Bell Reveal Baby’s Gender?

During a Thursday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, mom-to-be Kristen Bell might have accidentally revealed her baby’s gender.

When speaking of her car-fanatic fiancé, Dax Shepard, she said he will enjoy “all the off-roading he’ll have in this tiny partner.” Ellen immediately asked if they are expecting a son, and Kristen replied, “Do you have to be a boy to off-road? Absolutely not!” the House of Lies actress protested.

“I think he’s going to force [the baby], even if it’s a sloth, to off-road,” she added.

One thing is for sure, Kristen won’t be having a drug free home birth.

“I’ve got nothing to prove” by giving birth naturally, she joked to Ellen. “I feel like, when I arrive at the hospital, I want a glass of whiskey, I want the epidural in my back and I want to get hit in the face with a baseball bat and wake me up when it’s over because I’ve seen the videos—and it looks terrifying.”

But she is loving pregnancy, saying her “self-esteem has never been higher.”

“I look in the mirror and I think it’s the reverse body dysmorphia,” she shared, “because I can understand what my shape is, but I see Brooke Shields. And it doesn’t make a lick of sense, but it’s something that the baby’s giving me hormonally makes me feel really giggly and happy.”

I know lots of girls that like to off road with the guys. So I don’t see this as a gender reveal.

Well, not that many girls would like to off road I believe more than the girls that would like to do girly things! She knew that she had said something that she shouldn’t have, so she turned the topic around a bit. She probably is having a boy.

Uh, depends on the girl. I played with Barbies just as much as I played outside and sports. My father made sure my brother were no different. It’s a little naive to assume all girls like girly things.

It’s been shown time and time again that children are CONDITIONED to like gender specific things. If you give your daughter the choice, she could just as easily like off roading and barbies all the same.
