Lauren Conrad stuns on the March cover of Lucky magazine. In an accompanying interview,  26-year-old former Laguna Beach star opens up about her relationship with University of Southern California law student William Tell, 32, the possibility of starting a family and how her stint on MTV has impacted her career as a fashion designer.

On having children: “I want kids, but not in the immediate future. All of my friends in their early 30s who just started having kids say, ‘Give it a few years.’”

On her relaxed relationship: “Honestly, he studies all weekend and I’ve been working. I’m renovating a condo, so I’ve been spending my weekends shopping for home stuff at flea markets. He’s just a jeans and T-shirt guy, which I like [but] sometimes I’ll buy him clothes and sneak them into his drawer!”

On how her MTV career affected her reputation as a fashion designer: “[Being on a reality television series] did not help. It was difficult to be taken seriously. But I think the fact that I went to school to study fashion and worked in the industry helped me. I think it’s a good thing to feel like you have to prove something, because you’re always going to have to work a little bit harder. At the end of the day it’s going to hurt your feelings if someone says something mean about you, but I’ve learned to take a step back and ask myself if it’s really going to affect me, if this person who I’m never going to know or meet doesn’t like me… and it doesn’t.”

So simply stating that you want to have kids someday is enough to get you an article on Celebrity Baby Scoop.

    Uh. Okay.

Her boyfriend is called William Tell? Seriously? Parents actually called a child that… hahaha! He’s cousins with Peter Pan and Robin Hood…
